My Project

Final Grade Calculator is a personal project I created to help students easily calculate and predict their final grades. As a student myself, I've experienced the uncertainty of wondering what grade I needed on a final exam, or how my current assignments would affect my overall course grade.

Why I Built This

I built this calculator after struggling with manual grade calculations in spreadsheets and feeling the stress of not knowing exactly where I stood in my classes. I wanted a simple, accurate tool that could give me and fellow students a clear picture of our academic standing and what we needed to achieve our goals.

The Final Grade Calculator is designed to be straightforward and helpful - just input your assignments, their weights, and your scores to get instant results.

What This Tool Does

Final Grade Calculator isn't just one calculator - it's a suite of specialized calculators designed to answer specific questions students have about their grades:

• What score do I need on my final to get my desired grade?
• I took the final. What's my overall grade?
• My final counts as a test. What do I need to get?
• There are multiple parts in my final. What do I need on each?
• My class uses a point system. What do I need on the final?
• My lowest test grade is dropped. What do I need to get?
• I need to calculate something else (advanced custom calculations)

What makes this tool unique is that it leverages AI to provide a more personalized experience:

My Approach

I believe in keeping things simple and useful. This calculator focuses on providing clear answers to the questions students ask most: "What's my current grade?" and "What do I need on my final to get my target grade?"
